The sessions

Seven ways it is used here.

Each session type below is bookable on its own, and your practitioner will tell you honestly which — if any — fits your situation. Descriptions cover what the session involves; what it can do for you is a conversation for your assessment.

Pain Relief

Point-by-point microcurrent work over the areas driving your pain, usually alongside hands-on treatment.

Scar Release Therapy

Focused microcurrent applied around surgical or injury scars and the tissue restrictions that form near them.

TMJ & Jaw Release

Jaw and facial muscle work for clenching and TMJ tension — see our dedicated TMJ page for the full picture.

Concussion & Headache Care

A gentle adjunct used within concussion recovery — always after medical assessment, never instead of it.

Stress & Nervous System Reset

A slower, full-session protocol focused on downregulation — many people find it deeply calming.

Pelvic & Bladder Health

A private, consent-led session using external points only, discussed fully with your practitioner beforehand.

Full Body Balancing Session

The longest format: a head-to-toe protocol covering the major point groups in one visit.

Straight answers

What we will not do.

We will not present MPS as a cure for anything, and we will not use it where your assessment points somewhere else entirely. It is one tool among many under this roof — physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage and acupuncture — and it earns its place in your plan only when it fits.

Common questions

Answers before you book.

What is Dolphin MPS, exactly?

Microcurrent point stimulation: a small handheld device that delivers a very low electrical current to specific points on the skin — the kind of current measured in millionths of an amp. It is applied point by point by your practitioner, usually as part of a broader treatment plan rather than on its own.

Does it hurt?

Most people feel a brief, mild sensation at each point — often described as a small prick or tingle that passes in seconds. It is generally well tolerated, and your practitioner adjusts the approach based on your feedback throughout.

Can Dolphin MPS help my concussion?

Concussion care here is an adjunct to medical management, not a substitute for it. If you have not yet been medically assessed for your head injury, that comes first — we will say so plainly. Where it fits your recovery plan, MPS is used as one gentle tool alongside the rest of your rehabilitation.

What happens in a scar release session?

Your practitioner works around the scar itself and the surrounding tissue with the microcurrent device, after reviewing how the scar formed and how the area moves. Sessions are unhurried, and nothing is done without explaining it first.

Is Dolphin MPS covered by insurance?

How a session is billed depends on the regulated practitioner delivering it and how your plan categorizes that discipline. Our front desk confirms exactly how your plan handles it — before treatment begins, as with everything here.
