Classic applies one extension to one natural lash, for length and definition rather than density — it is the most natural of the three. Volume applies a fan of several fine, lighter extensions to each natural lash, giving a fuller, darker lash line. Hybrid mixes the two, which is why it suits people with gaps or uneven natural lashes. Your stylist recommends a set after looking at your own lashes rather than at a photograph.

A full set typically takes between an hour and a half and two and a half hours, depending on the set and how dense your natural lashes are. Volume takes longest because each fan is built by hand. Fills are shorter. It is a still, quiet appointment — most people find it relaxing, and plenty fall asleep.

Most people come back every two to three weeks. Your natural lashes shed on their own cycle and take their extension with them, so a fill replaces what has grown out rather than starting again. Leaving it much longer usually means a full set instead, because too little of the original work remains to build on.

Applied correctly — one extension isolated to one natural lash, at a weight that lash can carry — they should not. Damage typically comes from extensions that are too heavy for the natural lash, from lashes being glued together, or from picking and pulling them off at home. We also do cluster work, including spikes and fox eye styling, which gives a more dramatic and more temporary result than a full individual set. It is a good option if you want something for a specific occasion rather than an ongoing commitment.

Keep them dry for the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours while the adhesive fully cures. After that, water is fine. Avoid oil-based cleansers and makeup removers around the eyes, and skip waterproof mascara — removing it is what pulls extensions off. Your stylist will run through aftercare before you leave.
