Answers before you book.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No. In Ontario, physiotherapists and chiropractors are primary care practitioners, so you can book directly with us. Some extended health plans still ask for a referral before they reimburse, which is a rule of your policy rather than of the clinic — worth checking before your first visit.
Which rehabilitation services do you direct bill?
Physiotherapy, chiropractic care, registered massage therapy and acupuncture are all covered by most extended health plans, and we bill the major providers directly so you are not paying up front and waiting on reimbursement. We also handle WSIB claims and motor-vehicle-accident billing through your auto insurer.
Can I see more than one practitioner?
Yes, and many patients do. Having physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage under one roof means your practitioners can coordinate directly rather than working from separate notes — that is the main practical advantage of a combined clinic.
What happens at my first appointment?
Expect 45 to 60 minutes. Your practitioner takes a full history, assesses your movement and strength, explains what they find in plain language, and begins treatment the same day. You leave with a written plan and any home exercises you need.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the injury, not a fixed package. Your practitioner gives you a realistic estimate after the first assessment and adjusts it as you progress — we do not sell blocks of sessions you may not need.
