How it works

What each treatment actually does.

Plain descriptions of the equipment rather than promises about results. Which of these suits you — if any — is what the consultation is for.

Muscle stimulation

High-intensity electromagnetic and EMS equipment triggers muscle contractions in a targeted area — engaging muscle groups that are difficult to isolate voluntarily. It is used as a supplement to training, not a substitute for it.

Low-level laser (i-Lipo)

A non-invasive light-based treatment applied to a specific area of the body. It is typically done as a course and paired with activity afterwards. Nothing is injected and nothing is removed surgically.

Wood & ice therapy

Manual massage using shaped wooden tools, paired with cold therapy. Used to work targeted areas and support circulation. It is a hands-on treatment, so how it feels is adjusted to you during the session.

Starting with a consultation

Every plan begins with a conversation about what you are hoping for and whether these treatments are a sensible route to it. If we think something else would serve you better — including nothing at all — we will say so.

Common questions

Answers before you book.

Do these treatments replace diet and exercise?

No, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. These are body treatments used alongside your own activity and eating habits, not instead of them. At your consultation we will tell you honestly whether what you are asking for is likely to suit you.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the treatment and the area, and your practitioner gives you a realistic estimate at your consultation rather than selling a fixed block up front. Most equipment-based treatments are done as a course rather than a single session.

Is any of this covered by insurance?

No. Body and weight treatments are cosmetic rather than medically necessary, so extended health plans do not reimburse them. Our rehabilitation services — physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage and acupuncture — are a separate matter and are covered by most plans.

Do you offer weight-loss medication?

Any medication is a matter between you and a prescriber, and Canadian regulations do not permit clinics to advertise prescription drugs to the public. If medication is something you are considering, speak with your physician. What we offer here is the non-invasive, equipment-based side.

Can I combine this with treatment on the rehab side?

Yes. Both sides of the clinic are in the same building, so it is straightforward to book a physiotherapy or massage appointment alongside a body treatment.
