The shape of it

Three steps, one visit.

1 · Book

Online through Fresha for real-time availability and an emailed confirmation, or call us at 647.710.6927 during clinic hours. No referral needed in Ontario.

2 · Assessment

A full history and a hands-on assessment of your movement and strength — 45 to 60 minutes, explained in plain language as it happens. Treatment begins the same day in almost every case.

3 · Your plan

You leave with a written plan and any home exercises you need — what we found, what we recommend, and how we will know it is working. No thirty-visit packages before we have assessed you.

  • The plan holder’s name, if coverage is through a spouse or parent
  • Photo identification
  • Comfortable clothing that lets us reach the area being treated

Also good to know: free on-site parking at 726 Gordon Baker Road, we confirm your coverage before treatment begins, and we’re open Saturdays and Sundays.

Common questions

Answers before you book.

How long is the first appointment?

About 45 to 60 minutes. Your practitioner takes a full history, assesses your movement and strength, explains the findings in plain language, and begins treatment the same day. You leave with a written plan and any home exercises you need.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

Not to see us. In Ontario, physiotherapists and chiropractors are primary care practitioners, so you can book directly. Some extended health plans do still require a referral before they reimburse — that is a rule of your insurance policy rather than the clinic, and worth checking before your first visit.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that lets your practitioner see and move the area being assessed — shorts for a knee, a tank top for a shoulder. If you are coming from work, that is fine too: private treatment rooms make changing easy.

Will I be treated at the first visit, or just assessed?

Both, in almost every case. The assessment comes first because it decides what the treatment should be — but you should expect hands-on treatment to begin the same day, not just a conversation.

What if the assessment says you are not the right fit for me?

Then we say so, at the first visit. If what we find suggests imaging, a physician, or a different kind of care entirely, we tell you plainly and point you to who can help rather than booking you into a plan that does not fit.
