Common questions

Answers before you book.

Do I need a referral to book?

No. Physiotherapists and chiropractors are primary care practitioners in Ontario, so you can book with us directly. A few extended health plans still require a referral before they reimburse — that is a rule of the policy, not the clinic, and worth a quick check of yours.

Do you direct bill insurance?

Yes. We direct bill 11 insurers including Sun Life, Canada Life, Green Shield Canada and Blue Cross, plus WSIB for workplace injuries and auto insurers after a collision. We confirm your coverage before treatment begins, so there is no surprise at the desk.

What should I bring to a first appointment?

Your insurance policy and member number, photo identification, and the plan holder’s name if the coverage is through a spouse or parent. For a WSIB or car accident claim, bring your claim number. Comfortable clothing that lets us reach the area being treated helps too.

What happens at the first visit?

An assessment before anything else — history, movement testing, and a clear explanation of what we find. In most cases treatment starts the same visit, and you leave knowing the plan, not just the diagnosis.

Which practitioner do I need — physio, chiro or massage?

You do not have to know. Book an assessment and we will tell you honestly which care fits, including when it is a combination, and including when it is none of ours. Everything is under one roof, so being routed to the right practitioner does not mean a new clinic.

Can I book online?

Yes — booking runs through Fresha, our online booking system, with real-time availability and an emailed confirmation. You can also call 647.710.6927 during opening hours, or text us.

What are your hours?

Monday 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Closed Tuesday and Thursday.

Where are you, and is there parking?

We are at 726 Gordon Baker Road in North York, just off the 404 and Steeles corridor, with free parking on site. Patients come to us from North York, Scarborough, Markham and Thornhill.

I was in a car accident — who pays for treatment?

Your own auto insurer, through Ontario’s statutory accident benefits, regardless of who was at fault. We complete the OCF forms on your behalf and bill the insurer directly. Since 1 July 2026, auto insurance pays first, so your workplace benefits stay intact.

Do you treat WSIB claims?

Yes. We treat approved Workplace Safety and Insurance Board claims and bill the board directly — for an approved claim you pay nothing. Bring your claim number to your first visit.

Is massage therapy covered by insurance?

Under most extended health plans, yes — registered massage therapy is a standard paramedical benefit. Our massage therapists are RMTs, which is what insurers require, and we confirm your specific coverage before treatment.

Do you really do rehabilitation and medical aesthetics in one clinic?

Yes — physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage and acupuncture on one side, and the medical spa and weight management programs on the other, at the same address with the same front desk. One clinic, both sides of feeling like yourself again.

Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Yes — through the link in your Fresha confirmation email, or by calling the clinic at 647.710.6927. If something comes up, the earlier you let us know the easier it is to offer your spot to someone else.

Why are there no patient reviews on this site?

Because the rules for regulated health professions in Ontario prohibit using patient testimonials in advertising, and we follow them. It is a sign a clinic takes its regulatory obligations seriously — not a sign there is nothing good to say.
