How it works here

The consultation is the appointment.

Injectable treatments are not something to choose from a menu. The first appointment is an assessment: your medical history, your medications, what you want to change and why, and whether this is a sensible route for you at all.

What the consultation covers

  • Full medical history, medications and allergies
  • What you are hoping to change, in your own words
  • Whether an injectable approach suits that goal
  • The risks and what recovery involves
  • Alternatives, including doing nothing

What we will not do

We do not run injectable promotions, sell pre-paid packages, or discount for deciding on the day. We do not advertise products or results, because for some of these treatments Canadian regulations do not allow it — and because a photograph of someone else tells you very little about your own face.

Straight answers

Questions are free, and encouraged.

Nobody should feel rushed into an injectable treatment, and nobody should have to research it alone the night before. If you want to ask something before committing to a consultation, call the clinic and ask — we are not going to put you on a list for it.

Common questions

Answers before you book.

Why does this page not list products, brands or prices?

Because Canadian regulations do not permit it. Some injectable products are prescription drugs, and advertising a prescription drug to the public is restricted by law to its name, price and quantity — not what it does or who it suits. Rather than skirt that, we discuss products only in a private consultation, where a practitioner can answer properly and in context. Any clinic advertising results and prices for these treatments online is taking a liberty we would rather not take.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes, always. It covers your medical history, any medications and allergies, what you are hoping to change, and whether an injectable approach is appropriate for you at all. Sometimes the honest answer is that it is not, or that something else would serve you better — and you will be told that.

Can I be treated on the same day as my consultation?

Sometimes, if the assessment is straightforward and you have had time to consider it. There is no pressure to decide on the day, and no discount for doing so. If you would rather go away and think, that is a completely normal outcome of a consultation.

Who should not have injectable treatments?

Injectables are generally avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, where there is an active skin infection at the intended site, and in some neuromuscular conditions. Blood-thinning medication and certain supplements affect bruising and need to be discussed beforehand. This is not a complete list, which is exactly why the consultation covers your history properly.

What should I expect afterwards?

Some tenderness, redness or bruising at the injection sites is common and settles on its own. You will be given specific aftercare instructions before you leave, including what to avoid for the rest of the day. If anything concerns you afterwards, call the clinic — we would always rather look at it.

What if I have had treatment elsewhere?

Bring what you know: what was used, roughly when, and how you responded. Records from a previous clinic are useful but not essential. It matters most where treatments are being combined or where you were unhappy with a previous outcome.
